Nevet thought about the m3 ducts. But that bumper doesn't resemble ours at all
I was thinking in terms of the outside edge and gaining the width needed. It looks like to your point the inside edge is the polar opposite angle my bad.

We just need someone that will take the time to form a mold. I don't have any of that equipment nor do I even know where to start. But it's a very handy piece for the car which is why I really want to find someone to do this. I have no problem driving my car the way it is but to me it is really incomplete looking

Definitely interesting in keeping my car running cooler!

The point of this thread is to tell you the 335is ducts do not work..i tested them. Nor do the m3 ducts.. we need a custom piece

Yeah I know you tested them and they did not work (which is my guess as well), but at the same time this poster on reddit said he used 335is ducts; so I'm just wondering if anyone can provide more input to this project. Do you think it's possible that he custom mounted the ducts?

Read his posts. They dont sit flush aka they look like crap. 335is ducts They do not fit our car properly. At the back side of the air duct there are holes to attach it to your oil cooler. Yes those line up in the back...the front does not remotely fit. End of story.

You can still do what he did for a more direct air flow into the oil cooler, but i rather do what im going now, Until a perfect piece is created.

Its probably pretty simple for anyone that knows how and has the tools to mold.

Ah now it makes sense. I thought you mean the ducts do not fit installation wise.
I might just leave my foglight hole open then. Thanks!

FYI when i unplugged my fogs i wrapped the connections in tape and tucked them into the crash bar. That way they dont dangle around. YOU WILL get a fog light warning symbol, but it can be coded out. Your oil temp will 100% drop when you remove these. like i said i had 10-15* drops. And to be honest unless the sun is directly on the fog light covers youll never notice they are missing because they are kind of sucked into the bumper so there is always a dark shadow over them.
