ok thats not good at all, seems your maps are even worse than mine. my throttle is perfect, just have some boost request drops. On the track was running nice. I will send you some videos

meth is inconvenient. it is just that simple. if the gas station sold it and i could fill up both tanks at the same time i would be in.

I simply don't understand why people say meth is a requirement.

IF tuning is sorted out completely, fueling shouldn't be an issue. It's sad to see that meth is being used as a bandaid to the inherent problem dealing with upgraded/single turbos... more fuel.

Yes, Meth has its benefits (cooling, higher octane), but it should be used for just those reasons alone, NOT for extra fueling.

hmmm. I am in the same situation where I have RB's with cobb but couldn't find a pump gas map for RB's to utilize the most of its potentials, neither do I want to run meth somehow.

Sounds like an ATR or ATP map that specifically takes into account the RBs is the best way to go

I think the methanol is simply used for octance enhancement and IAT suppression from my experience.

Yes, because Methanol costs pennies on the dollar compared to race gas. $4 for 5L of 50/50 fluid? Yes please.

Both the meth systems in my 135 and my STi implement ECU side failsafes if the meth doesn't flow. Both systems use high quality Aquamist pumps. Honestly at this point, I worry more about my STi fuel pump hiccuping at 64psi pressure than my meth pump failing to dispense fluid.

You get very cheap insurance for your engine that just happens to have the ability to add a bunch of power.

I'm actually quite grumpy I don't get to run meth on my VR38DETT. I get the choice of pump gas for a modest tune, and c16 when I want to move. C16 has the lovely benefits of fouling my $800/side +labour o2 sensors, being toxic, hard to obtain, and over $5/L.

PWM Meth integration on the Vishnu and jb4 system is great. I can only speak of the Vishnu, but the ability to adjust timing based on flow is superb. No flow from a clogged injector/filter? no problem, we won't add any timing and knock your engine to death. Too much flow? We'll let you know that too.

I see absolutely no reason to not run meth, and plan on adding it to my diesel toy hauler soon.

For those of us road course junkies, safe use of meth requires a properly vented, trunk-mounted fuel cell.

It can, of course, be done, but it ends up being costly and introduces additional systems that can fail. Also need to source meth and bring it to the track.

I'd prefer relying on premium gas (93/94 octane) with an occasional splash of E85.
