BY ANY MEANS THIS IS A COMPLAINT, JUST WANT SOME SECOND OPINION
...so, I ended up buying this airbag over the weekend for $400. The picture that you see below is the picture of the actual airbag the problem is that the part inside the red circle was broken and glued back. I have a question for all the people following this thread. Is it ok to install the airbag glued like that? or once that piece breaks I'll need to change it and there won't be glue that resists the spring that will seat in there? I'm asking because when I pointed out that the piece was broken, the guy just answer me back "apparently you don't know nothing about cars" lol |

You should of knocked the OP out right then and there. Hope this is resolved well for you man. I personally wouldn't install it, even if it works perfectly fine, a tab should not be "super glued" on such an important item.

Gus, I def would not recommend installing it like that. I would ask for your money back if it was sold as new it should be new not super glued together. Sorry to hear hope OP complies.

Not even mention that you offered a BRAND NEW AIRBAG gor sale and it wasnt just used but broken and glued. How can i shipped back to you and you giving me my money back? Here you can see some of the feedback. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=748090" Thanks all for your feedback |

A scam?
You SAW the airbag prior buying it and made the decision to buy it...nobody forced you to buy it... At first, you backed off..but then you decided to buy it. Gus you contacted me on November 16... The "new" airbag was sold on November 12..check post #28 Gus if you're complaining like a girl why did you buy it in the first place? Complaining on forums won't resolve anything.. So you never mentioned here what I told you when you bought it... Once again, if you are a man, talk to me directly.

If the airbag that Gus bought is the same airbag you originally listed, then yes, it's a scam. You advertised a new item and let a guy drive 2 1/2 hrs to buy said item under the premise that he was getting a new part. So after he's drove all that way you then you disclose the defect and con the buyer into paying for it anyways, and now when all is said and done its determined that your "new" part can't be used and you're trying to tell the guy "tough shit". Sure, perhaps the buyer should have walked away after he realized what you were actually selling, but I'll forgive naivety before I can forgive manipulation. If YOU are a man, you'll sack up, admit you're in the wrong and refund the money for the purchase.

In either case you represented the item as "brand new." Brand new means, just that. |

And just for the records, i started the thread asking for some feedback about installing a glued airbag and clearly stated that this wasnt a complaint. After getting all the feedbacks a decided not to installed because i think its unsafe. If me or my wife are driving the car and because of your glued piece the airbag deploy we can easily get into an accident and you dont want to be responsable for that. Please get in touch with me so we can fix this issue. Thank you. |
