I own a 320d ed and I don't feel as though my car isn't the best or the worst I just get on with it and each persons situation such as insurance running costs and the actual features of the car fair enough if insurance was cheaper and the price of fuel at the moment it all depends on each persons circumstances some people don't need all that extra power so each to their own I suppose.

Totally agree, but you will find that people like, andy9188, dxb335d and A_P think they are far more superior.

My e92 320D with remap wouldn't be considered lacking poke in my eyes. And the low road tax, 48MPG are all plus points for me.

Of course one is better than the other or they would only make one model. That is why you pay more money for them and the associated running costs.

Exactly. Some people do not care about power they just appreciate the aesthetics of the car.

Mate are you ok. I think if you actually read properly what A_P has put he wasnt having a go at you he was saying that he does not like snobs and has not time for them which is right. There isn't really many snobs on here to be fair. People are just mainly stating what they think. It is an open forum. I don't think I'm more superior than anyone I'm a bin man for the council haha can't go much lower

Andy don't worry about this dude, he has a screw loose. He decided to post a thread about wether sat nav is worth it or not. Then decided to delete all his post in a huff when some member didnt agree with him.

Seems to me like he just wants to go round picking fights.

I don't get the snobbery at all, it's your car you're buying or ordering if new, if you pick the 320d that's because you want that engine! Hence why I picked a 320d F30 over a 330d E90 plus insurance & running costs does factor into it. It's your choice you choose what model and engine you wish to have.

I thought he'd left. I know he said goodbye, I'm gone, see you later etc at least half a dozen times. Obviously he forgot.

There you go. Little reminder mate

First of all A_P I am not a dude or a mate, do not have a screw loose because I don't have any and I certainly do not pick fights with people.
I have sat back and looked at this forum and when people post an open opinion there are a certain pack who descend on the unwitting culprit.
These people run a common theme in the putting down of the person who opened the thread and almost post there attacks in a close period of time.
These people are A_P, andy9188 and dxb335d.
In the relation to the sat nav thread I asked about the opinion of the sat nav function who most people have agreed is not the best, however all I got was people banging on about how they couldn’t function without iDrive!!! Why?
I have noticed that a lot of people like you simply do not read and digest the question the pick some elements of the question and go off on a tangent.
For some time now people have banged on about the fact that all BMW drivers are knobs and look down on other motorists, [an opinion I do NOT share] and when I bought my car people said “oh I didn’t have you down as a BMW driver”.
Having had the misfortune of stumbling across people like A_P, andy9188 and dxb335d, I have to question are you the type of people that they are referring to in their opinion of the knobs that look down on other motorists?
May I suggest that in future you act with a bit more construction instead of jumping on people with your incorrect assumptions.

Does it really bother you that people might tar you with the 'BMW knob' brush?

I couldn't care less

Anybody who generalises that everyone who drives a BMW is a "knob" or has a "lack of intelligence", really is demonstrating their mental limitations.

I did quote that it was an opinion I did not share however on stumbling upon people like A_P, andy9188 and dxb335d then I wonder.

Thoughts and opinions I do not wish to have in my thoughts.

I say no, however I suppose sub consciously it does.

Shows a lack of respect as they do know me as a person.

Like A_P making statements like I have had a huff and wanting to pick fights. He does not know me so what gives him the right to make these statements about me.

Anyway......... back to the original post

I've got some 313's on my e92, lovely wheels however they are a nightmare for scratch's and marks. You have to be so careful with car parks, especially mulit-story ones with the curbed ramps etc.

I have a Pre LCI too and my H8 bulbs are better than the yellow ones but nowhere near as good as the LCI ones, i think its hard impossible to get the same look.

I've got an 320d too. I could of got a 330d or 335d but I do lots of regular long trips to Scotland and London and im loving the mpg i get. Everyone's situation is different

No and I will not be going.

Why should I let the small minority such as yourself A_P and dxb335d bully me.

I will continue to enjoy the majorities valid and respectfull comments and leave you and your chumbs to look down on and bully people.

You must feel so proud when you admire yourself in the mirror.
