Nice wheels, but impractical. I don't think you can drive like this on a mountain road. I can imagine that the rims hitting the fender and asphalt, causing beautiful sparks.

That's cool, keep us posted. The thing I like about the e92 is you can go sporty/race build or slammed cruiser build. Whereas other cars like the s2000 look dumb when people do a high-camber slammed build on a car that is meant to destroy twisties.

What's the point of the racing seat/roll bars if you can't drive it more than 30mph?

I've been getting a lot of questions about the suspension on the car.
Here's what it looks like up front (I don't have these exact struts on the car but they look pretty much identical): And here's controller and the compressor/air reservoir in the trunk: The height of the car is completely adjustable. It's has one aligned height (preset 2), and as long as it gets driven at this height, there are zero premature tire wear issues with this setup. Height preset 1 is typically set to a super low height for cruising low at car shows (no true practical purpose ), and height preset three is a lifted height, perfect for getting in steep driveways, over speed bumps etc. Height preset 3 is setup to be extremely comfortable despite the increased air spring pressure. Let me know if you have any questions. |

Thanks Ivan.
Thanks! That was the goal Thanks. On new BMWs the metal is to thick to properly roll the fenders. Cutting them is the only option. |
