The downside is that the end user has to push it all the way (until it gets snug) and then secure the length with tape.

The new harness i got from Shiv has a slightly thinner blade connector that is much easier to remove. The power wire being smaller crimped into the connector does not get dislodged easier when u try to pull it off.

Yea, and if you look around. My M also beat my buddies 335i with procede. Which another member posted. The car was perfectly fine and running normal the night we did the pulls.

Art, you never were a huge 335i believer, talked about killing a few of us actually, and now you are modding your girl's 335i Thought you would never fall for that.....hehehehehe. I'm on the other side of the wall, have the 335i coupe, was all about modding it, and then I decided, I'm just trading the sucker in on a new M3 or M5 next year.

Hope your having fun with the new toy

I wasn't at first because I was upset with the fact BMW had to go to turbo's. I always liked them for their high power N/A motors. Than I test drove the 335i back in May. Yea, it reminded me of my E90 330, but with 2 less doors and a 300hp motor. The turbos were great, I was suprised. It still felt nothing like the M tho. But Yes i did fall inlove with the car, and so did my girl so Back in May we ordered the car. It has almost 2000 miles on it already. And yea I cant help myself but to start modding the car. Gonna get Tints next, some rims. V2 when it comes out and maybe exhuast/downpipe. well see... At 1200 Miles I did some pulls with both cars. and stock the 335i was no competition. With the procede i get about 2 car lengths on the 335 now. Steady pull tho its 2 Car lengths at like 130 + from a 40mph pull... <<< Had to clearify that.

Well, like I said, I realize that I'm ready for an M ASAP!!! Me and my girl are buying her a car this winter/spring and then we are trading mine in for E92 M3 when the DSG/SMG system comes out. Just need that N/A and buckled into the ground feel of an M.

My friend has a E39 M5 modded. Exhuast, Intake, lighter wheels, ssk... and other stuff. We were curious how I would do against him. We ran from 2nd gear. We were both about dead even. Altho is 7k redline hurt him a tad, I brought it up to 8k and thats the only reason i keep edging him . He was right on my drivers side door with the front end of his car tho. Same night we ran the 335i with the E39. And the E39 edged out the 335. This weekend I will charge up my video cam and see if theres a good spot during the day to do some pulls...
