Ha, no comment on this? A dyno usually measures TQ and then calcs hp or vice versa. With that cross at the wrong point, tell me that this graph is not reliable.

They do... at 5250 they're both at about 380. The scale is different for torque (Right Y-axis) as it is for HP (Left Y-axis). So the lines cross at a different point but they're really both at around 380 at 5250. Nothing wrong with it.

Never scrolled over far enough to see that the scales are different. So, am I the bigger retard because I failed to look at the graph carefully or is the person who set up the graph the bigger retard?
Seriously, who the fvck would plot the numbers like that? |

I'm guessing the software auto-scales so you can get the biggest curve for each graph to help show the curve gradients. I mean if you take the extreme and your car made 2,000ft-lbs of torque but could only rev to 1k rpm, the car would peak at 380HP. Trying to read the differences in the curve on the HP when its scale is 0 to 2500 would be insane as the entire thing would likely fall within 2 ticks on the scale. Granted this is a crazy exaggeration, but you get the idea.

Hence why many have started to wonder if vargas will get to the 500-525 whp goal... i would like it to be on 91 pump... for right now let the waiting begin... although I am reminded on how we all had to wait for the JB4 S2, Cobb, etc... waiting is hard

I feel ya. The worst part is knowing that the wait isn't just for the hardware, but the inevitable tuning nightmare that will follow. That valvetronic isn't going to be easy to figure out and dial in properly...

n55 is a very up and coming motor. I read that they have already put more n55's into any model than they have with the n54. This being said the market for these will EXPLODE in the coming years. I've also read the valves are bigger and they flow a lot easier, I'm anxious to see the differences between the two as the tuning and upgrades start to get serious with the n55.

That and the warranty start to come up on a lot of them. I also hope their injectors/coils/cam ledges and all the crap that keeps breaking on the N54s turn out to be a little more reliable.
