Hahahah +1. All m-pack/m cars come with black window trim. It's been that way for over a decade. People with chrome window trim are "entry level".. or just american, since we get nothing around here.

Update. Over the weekend I went down to the same decal shop to "de-chrome" my window trims. I chose gloss black over the matt version on my friend's car.
At the same time, the mod virus got better of me and I decided to let them use the same vinyl, but of a transparent tint, on my headlights, fogs, side indicators and rear tail-lights (the clear portion)...... I saw them using a hairdryer to soften the vinyl and wrap it around........ This is how the finished product looks...... I have asked the decal shop on the model number of the vinyl they used on both the window trim and the lights black-out, but the owner refused to disclose. As for the kidney grilles, I will go for the spray-painting method, since the grilles are a lot more complex in the curvature. But do note that spray-painting will only work well if the grilles are properly sanded and primed prior to the painting process. Will post the pictures of the kidney grilles after the spray-paint job tomorrow. Cheers

the Matte black from Ebay worked for me, I did a DIY somewhere, to be able to wrap it all in one piece on the top rail. The vinyl actually looks better than paint to me. Well worth it

The authorised dealer has the shadowchrome window trim for the 335i they sell, not for any other 335 distributed through parallel importers. I did not buy my car from the local dealer - I bought it due an importer. In short, even I am willing to pay a bomb for those trims (which I am not), I will rather explore other ways of changing the (look of the) trims than to beg them to sell me the chromeshadow trims. Plus, this mod is reversible.
