For those waiting for their cars coming off this ship, if you guys are leasing, can you post your mf rates and what dealership once you take delivery? thanks

I'll be paying in full at time of purchase. Im buying it from stevens creek.

Sorry, I'm not leasing either. I'm big on ownership I guess. I've been driving my current car for 14.8 years now.

Just and update...

My CA tells me that my car maybe delivered as soon as tomorrow to the dealership! Of course it has to still go through PDI, etc. but nontheless its nice to know how much closer it is!

That would rock if our vehicles arrived on Saturday, got PDI'ed, and then released on Sunday. It's a pain in the ass to try and pick up a new car when I live in Santa Cruz, work in Palo Alto, and the dealership is in Monterey.

Plus it would make my Monday commute that much more pleasant.

Its 10:28 AM and I just got a call from my CA that....

MY CAR IS HERE AND READY!!!

I have an appt in an hour to go and pick it up!

Here are some quick photos of the car at the dealership. The car had 5 miles on it when we picked it up... it now has 27 from taking the looooong way home with the top down

I simply love the car! I'll post more later as I'm off to pick up some 3M tape so I can install my Aero Lip that I bought from Longtran a few weeks ago!

Yea, they go over all of the nuances of the car. Mine lasted about 45 minutes. They even paired my iPhone and had me make a few calls on it. Coming from previously owning a MBZ, I'd have to say that the BMW ordering/delivery experience was a fantastic.

EDIT: Congrats on your car! Only a few more days!!!!

oh man that's awesome. i hope my CA takes the time to explain everything to me too. I haven't even heard from him since i ordered my friggin car. wtf. And I did find that initial "non official" order form and my car was ordered 8/9/07. So I dunno why mine went into production so late. People who ordered mid Aug seem to be getting their cars this week.

Got it. This photo was snapped while waiting for my CA to finish another delivery. The car was still in the detailing garage when I arrived.

As it turned out my car arrived on Tuesday the 9th, but the delivery wasn't until today because my CA was on his two days off.

Anyway, I'm glad the ordeal of waiting is over. I can stop having dreams about messed up orders and instead choke on the new car smell. It's going to take me a while to learn all of the voice commands and iDrive stuff.

The bluetooth phone synchronization rocks. Absolutely rocks.
