I've been reading ETS as "estimated time of sailing" and ETA as "estimated time of arrival [to the destination]". I think I'm on Kiwi Auckland (I was at the port of exit and switched to "in transit" today), scheduled to depart today and arrive in Port Hueneme on Nov 1, which seems fast.

I've been waiting since June, and still am..

According to my CA, my car went into production on the 4th. Any idea when it should be ready, and what vessel it MIGHT be on?

production usually is one week... then we gotta wait til we get on a boat.. which is undetermined... because we don't know the size of load in front of us.
Once we are on the boat is about a nice 14 day sail to the east coast (give or take/weather comes in effect..) or to th e west.. I assume double. Once you are "In transit" - You can give a ring to your dealer and they should have all the info regarding boat status from DSC(i think that's what it is called.)

I'm waiting for the call back to the dealer since.. I switched my color last minute... so I'm confused as if my car is done from production or re-entered.

Mine showed "finished production 10/5"....hopefully, I'm on that boat. I'm getting real anxious now that I have sold the Z06 and that weight is lifted off my shoulders.

I'll just enjoy my time in Aruba from 10/18-25 which will hopefully make the wait less painful.

Did you try contacting your CA. My status on OC and 1800 still says waiting for vessel. Only your CA would know if your car is on a ship or not.

Mine arrived at port 10/9/07 and I called 800 # says im in transit so you guys need to check again. It only took a day there, wonderful. Didnt have time to collect dust.

how do you know that you're on LIBERTY, though? According to the WW shipping schedule it departed from Bremerhaven on Oct 8...

My CA told me its on Liberty that left 10/08 and also gave me my voyage #.

I've just tracked my old car/new car (not sure cuz OC didnt update the color) but it says.. It's awaiting a shipping vessel @ the port.

The reason it's taking so long is my dad called to see whats the deal and the CA takes forever to respond to us.

This morning I called both my CA and called the 800 #. Both said the car is still waiting for a vessel. I finished production on 10/1. 10 days? The ships must be backed up what the &#@*!!!! =)

Hmm, that sucks. It seems like a lot of people have been waiting at the port for a week or more. But then again I also keep on reading posts about people getting onto ships just a few days after production complete. What gives??

According to BMW NA, my car only arrived at the port today. It was production complete on Sunday, so it took 4 days for me. Otello departs today, so fat chance of making that one (for me at least). Atlantic Conveyor is the next ship that will stop in NYC, and that leaves on Sunday. If I don't make that one I will be slightly pissed.
