Ya, definitely a good idea.

However after this ordeal, I'm going to pretty much say I won't take back possession of the car unless they give me the 'new car' extended warranty they tired to sell me when I originally purchased the vehicle.

Since you have been having these issues and they haven't been able to fix it properly, you might want to use this to your advantage and have some stuff replaced under warranty that normaly wouldn't be covered.

I would strongly advise you to take the car to an independent shop and have it fully inspected. Once you have an idea of what needs to be replaced take it in and deal with it one time rather then paying the damn $50 deductible everytime you need warranty work.

Try and develop a good relationship with one service advisor and go to him always and give him 100% on the survey. They love that and they do have the ability to "hook it up" when it comes to warranty work ;-)
