That long wait is unacceptable. It seems like too many customers let tuners get away with this by continuing to shell out money. If people stopped buying, they would have to be help accountable to their own promises. With more options available, people will just buy a different solution. Vinshu should take note.

Are you using the Hydra? I have been meaning to look in to that as an option.

It does not. The car was stock with the exception of the tune.

The indeterminate and misleading pricing and shipping times can be an inconvenience, if you make plans based on that info. However, this bad info seems to be due to internal planning rather than deceitful intentions. The fact that purchases can be readily refunded means the customer is still in control.

Take note of competition and the consequences of business practices? Of course they are already well aware of these things. They simply need to be providing more accurate estimates, where cost (their cost, our price) and time are involved. That way their customers can plan better also.

Nice work though, I look forward to seeing what else you have up your sleeve.
Some other things that Helix is looking at is the large FMIC that is a direct fit, Meth injection that works with the Attache`, and possibly a 3rd turbo

Zen, my experience in the tuner game over the last 5-7 years where I have been strongly in the F/I market is that the tuners are notorious for delays and price hikes. That being said, we only have our wallets to keep them honest. If there are multiple piggies on the market with competing results, we can have an impact on the service we get. Vinshu seems to be the only tuner that offers a solution that offers timing, fuel, boost, etc. controls right now, so this to me could be a huge offering to the community as a whole.

I would guess a little higher. Probably to compete with V2.

The problem there is why buy this one then. I would think if they underprice the v2, they will sell substantially more.

I would buy it if it has better customer service or allow some home tuning, or wideband lamda, etc even if it was more than the Procede.

How would a third turbo work? Or are you joking?

Im sure they would come in under the price of the complete V2 package. But why should you buy from them? Because they have yet to get any bad press from anyone and they are highly respected in the Mini world. Ive visited their shop and I was more than impressed with what I saw. They are dedicated to putting out only top notch stuff with 100% R&D behind it. They wont sell anything they wouldnt personally tested on their own cars with good results.

But most of all, I trust them. I dont believe they are taking anyone elses materials and calling it their own. I dont believe they are hijacking anyone elses ideas and incorporating it into their own design. And I believe they will respond to inquiries more directly and quickly than the other "mentioned" tuner out there. Lastly, they wouldnt sell anything they dont have in stock or say its available.

Larger turbo that comes on after certain RPM and lets the smaller OEM turbos take a break. More efficient and easier to work with. Kind of like a subwoofer in a home theater that works only when the crossover is set for it to power on when its told to and relieves the smaller subs in the main speakers.

Help me here. This is a simple plug in "like" the SSTT? I will advertise the crap out of it if you can get me one to Dallas. Don't hold it against me if we beat the Eag's this weekend. PM me.

I would also be interested in this "Plus n Play" device. Is it the TurboTuner version of Plug n Play or the Procede version of Plug n Play? I would think if you are controlling what you say you are it's going to be similar to a Procede install.
