i put the JB4 on my car at about 45k miles, now it has 116k miles, is that high enough miles for you.
hoping the car will make it well past 250k, as I will probably have that many when it's paid off in the next two years. But I want it to last longer cause there are no other cars i'd rather have that they have come out with, its impossible to find an AWD car with a manual transmission.
I want to put a meth-injection kit so the engine lasts longer..

Yea…methanol isn’t going to extend the life of your motor. If you’re lucky+prudent about how often and how much you spray it won’t degrade the sleeves. But methanol is corrosive, so even assuming a clean and efficient burn it’s still not so awesome for metal parts. I spray a very modest mixture and a very modest volume, so not as concerned about it.

I am guessing it has a lot to do with how you drive on a daily basis as 135Pats said. I was thinking about some sort of tune or flash after I get some needed maintenance done this summer and my car is over 90K now. I figure it won't affect too much other than normal maintenance if 75% I am just commuting and 25% I am driving it hard.

Kinda unrelated but my mom has a 2001 x5 4.4 and its at about 240k miles. The only think that we have ever done to that car is change tires, spark plugs, break fluid, breaks and window washer fluid lol. Point is that BMW knows there shit and build quality motors.
