just my personal opinion but this is the worst bond of all... i felt i was watching fast and the furious by the end... and I am a huge bond fan

^ It's bad because of what happened at the end but action wise I'd say it's one of the best if not the best, I love all the Bond films though I'm a little concerned in what is coming up after this one.

Just watch "office space", again.
I believe it is the reason behind the phenomena of "quiet quitting" nowadays.

Of course it is. If you bust your ass and aren't rewarded, where is the motivation?

It was fun, in a nostalgic way. If you liked "A Christmas Story", you'll probably like this one.

Fun fact: All of the kids from the first one are the adults in the second one. i.e. they're physically the same people (everyone except the mom-- she's retired from acting). Kind of interesting to see how Flick, Farkus, etc. ended up.

R.
We tried it at the beginning of last month, couldn't get through the first third. And we both LOVE "A Christmas Story."

eh... a couple of things-

the action this one wasn't really particularly strategic like classic bond movies... it felt more like watching fast and the furious and everything including the ending explosions were WAY over the top... the movie seemed far more simple than the prior ones... watch Casino Royale and then this and you will feel like you just watched a B rated straight to dvd film... also Rami Malek who was absolutely outstanding in Queen... this was not a role for him AT all

Just finished White Noise on Netflix and boy was it a strange movie. Not even sure what genre it was. My wife and I looked at each other after it was over and said that was an odd movie. Can't say it was horrible or great. Worth a watch if you're bored.

Garage List
My Wife and I watched the latest rendition of All Quiet On The Western Front.

Great movie if you’re a fan of the genre, which we both are

Very sad, on many levels, though!

I think Director Fukanaga tried to please everyone with a bit of everything, I won't say too much to spoil it for people that haven't seen it yet but the bigger picture of Bond wanting to start a family was foremost against anything else.

Watching this again and I think it's Redford's best, Turner is fighting for his life after his colleagues are wiped out in an office when he pops out for a sandwich.

Yeah, I like the originality of the film. Many of the characters were fun to hate. Ralph Fiennes is a great actor that doesn't get enough credit imo.

I hate the pretentious dishes and I know it's fiction but some of them are really reality-based.

They're definitely based on reality and I enjoyed the movie's parody of it.

Yup, I wish I recorded a scene when I went to one of many fancy restos back in the day. This guy was standing over our table giving me this freaking long lecture describing this nasty soup in a micro dish that was some appetizer thing the chef gifted us, ugh, it was so bad: imagine 3 mouthfuls of stale, cold tomato soup but in green.

It's so bad when they go artsy and forget about feeding the diner. I don't care about the aesthetics as they usually do that wrong too since it's so pretentious.

I've been through that a few times. Now I hardly ever go to fancy restaurants...maybe once a quarter for a special occasion. For me, simple/basic dishes usually taste way better.
