Back when I was a kid, my grandparents lived near the factory where the little crack pushers had thin mints made. The factory had a store, where they sold 5-pound bulk boxes of "scratch and dent" thin mints for something like a buck because the middle-man (or more accurately the middle girl) was cut out of the loop. No wonder I'm a diabetic these days.....

I've never had the chocolate mint, not sure if they were ever available in Canada. But when those pushers came door to door I was weak for the vanilla and chocolate. I like to freeze them before I eat them.

The end seams should be staggered so they don't line up with each other. Here is an example.
