Ill have to hit that park for car camping. Couple friends and I have hit shady grove off lanier a couple of times.

I love this thing I got for it. But I sleep in the car instead of tenting, but its still a nice place to set up shop under for shade.

I plan to get into auto cross events next year and I was hoping to get some suggestions on what sort of entry level suspension setup should I go with on a 500-700$ budget. Additionally, I plan to upgrade to a 17" setup from my existing 16" BBS Style 5s.

I document the journey of my car on Instagram @sleeper.e91 in case any of you wanna follow along

Your 16x8 style 5's from E38 are most likely lighter than upgrading to 17's. They will take a 245 in width. I used to run these on my E30 m3 before going to BBS RX for light weight wheels.
Tires will be cheaper and the offset at et 20 is close to what is needed for our cars. You might be one of the only out there running an e91 in auto-x The amount they weigh and most common gearbox is an automatic will make it tough but thinking your class will be very limited.

I'd budget for a bit more and get the ST coilovers. Either that or go with BC Racing coilovers. I think Solowerks fits the $500 mark for coilovers and they were having a good deal over the holidays, however, I have zero experience with them.

I would debadge it though, awkward placement on BMW's part.

I loved my 2011 LCI E91 328iT. Alpine White with Chestnut (Rotbraun) leather. M Sport. 6-speed manual. I only had it for less than three years, as I got married and got an X3 for my new wife. The car went to Enthusiast Auto and I noted that it was listed a couple of years later as a repeat offering.

Does that mean it has made the journey back home? Or are you just sharing some older photos? Sharp car.

Older photos. Enhthusiast sold it, then a couple of years later apparently bought it back and sold it again.

Sleeping in the car is way better than a tent and on the ground. I used to have a Jeep Cherokee XJ a few years ago and when camping would put the rear seat down and I could fit diagonally laying in the back. Not the most comfortable but way better than a tent.

It's interesting how many of these E91s are white. I considered Le Mans Blue metallic but went white instead as I was replacing a blue car.

Whichever wagon that blows the engine or transmission first TBH

I’m leaning towards the E91 since it’s a lot easier.

Man, haven't pulled the trigger on the 18x9.5 square setup yet as I've been toying with the idea of a 16" meaty setup - just haven't seen anything convincing and it's hard to not drool when you post your setup!
