No, the catless smell doesn't smell like gasoline. It's hard to describe but it's not gasoline. It's kind of like a sulfer smell.

What about meth/race gas maps? You guys said those were supposed to be ready by the end of march and its now almost the end of april?

Yep, and AFAIK it's already fixed. Unfortunately my work schedule sucks and the next time i can get to the shop is next monday. The tuner is a profesional road course/time attack driver and he may be taking part in the one lap of america that monday so it may have to be the next monday. Kinda sucks but it is what it is.

Here is a little something i did find out though. It's been speculated for a while now that spraying meth on an OTS map will cause a loss of HP, well i can confirm that. On stage 2+ aggressive i lost about ~15whp throughout the entire rev range when spraying meth. Ofcoarse different nozzles and flow rates will affect that, but for the average user spraying meth will cost some HP when not tuned for it.

QUESTION. im getting my cobb tuning next week. im just curious what exactly would i have to put into my car to keep up or beat a e55 amg. i beleive he has a pulley and upgraded intercooler. please let me know if you guys can help? i will be racing him in a month.

I would say FBO and tuned with meth maybe, since those supercharged E55 are quite beastly from memory.

Why are you so hung up on the OTS meth maps? If you have a good meth kit (ie. only Aquamist), you can dial it in just how you want with very good integrated failsafes. All you need is a shop who has ATP. Or, wait a bit longer for ATR's release and find someone who can tune your car to maximize the meth use.

If it were me, I would only run custom tuned meth and race maps. OTS is good for pump gas only IMO.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that ATP has been out for almost 2 months and yet we've yet to see race gas / meth protunes? No E85 protunes, no shop cars tuned with ATP from the ATP tuner shops? Maybe I'm just not seeing the threads.

FBO/tune/meth is the bare minimum.
Stage 1s run low 120mph. Stage 2 get get to mid 120's quarter. That's if his car is tuned well.
