How's the law business going down in south Georgia? I hope to be passing through soon and will drop you a note prior. I expect you have sense of humor when it comes to jury selection. One attorney I had during my week of jury duty in Cherokee county seemed to have missed the boat. What would you expect when you ask the panel if they have pre-conceived notions about personal injury attorneys? Ambulance chaser came to mind which did not make him happy but it served me well. |

My head was not cooked, my exhaust valves however were showing play and did not seal 100% so my shop advised to renovate it and change valve guides since the head was apart.

From my tuning experience on turbo cars I agree with Shiv - it is important that timing is controlled not just boost. Timing, fuel, boost maps. It's as simple as that.

I only have BMW mods until now (save for the drop-in filter and the wheels) because my car is only 2 years old and also because I can understand enough about engine tuning and I researched alot in order not to be fooled by marketing ploys and rush myself into decisions. I am planning very carefully my upgrades because I own my car and I care about it alot. I advise you to do the same.

BTW, piggy backs cannot control the fuzzylogic timing function on ANY BMW cansbus MSD/MSV/MEVD/etc DME!!! Only working in the code can DO IT CORRECTLY period. Piggyback have no idea which of MANY timing tables the car is running that depends on computer adaptation at ALL times. Last edited by m54b25; 10-11-2010 at 11:35 AM.. |

However, just being rude and impolite doesn't replace technical arguments. I think you are among the extremely few people on this forum that posts only insults and no other on-topic stuff. If you keep posting insults you will alter the Google ranking of this forum and the moderators will have reasons to be upset

I just bring in facts, and ask the Piggy back makers to show you just one of many ignition tables from any MSD8x and then ask them if they understand which state table they are running on now on the DME? |

Please cease and desist on the personal comments. No more derogatory crap will be tolerated. Just stop now, no retaliation.
If you want to comment on specific factual issues, great.

are they still using the Tremec box ?? if so, you may want to upgrade the synchro assy on 2nd and 3rd -- they unfortunately take the most beating -- 2nd gear translates a lot of torque once youre out of warranty - that is |

Sevak is really doing the community an injustice by not even posting what the hell is going on with his car...Bump for some info as many people are running thier cars hard and a little insight to what happened to his car is not much to ask for...

I do agree that would be a shame for community, but put yourself in his shoes. Maybe he cant afford to buy a new engine and this is his best option? Regardless the news will leak out one way or another eventually.
