Did you guys receive something from BMW recently?

I got this designer's concept version of E92 sketch printed on a high quality paper, which is suitable for framing. The letter basically expressed an appreciation for being a loyal BMW customer (saying I am The Ultimate Driver... LOL).

Thought that was nice... something I will keep for sure.

To change the topic, I was reading the most recent BMW magazine featuring 1 series and within the magazine, they introduced their newly build BMW World in Munich. Looked really amazing... I would seriously consider European delivery next time! To be able to tour the BMW museum, plant, and now world at the same time you take delivery of your new bimmer... an idea hard to resist.

They also introduced this 85 year-old who has done European delivery for more than 25 times... (he says he changes his bimmer every 8 months

). His latest was E92 335 in silver and he still prefers the manual.

This would be my ideal life style after the retirement

Haha, I just posted about this in another thread. I received mine yesterday. Its pretty cool, definitely gonna frame it.

That's what we plan for every meet but somehow our wives/GF's prefer to talk endlessly about our cars...

The New Hope meet last Fall came close....the girls went shopping and bought liquid refreshments, I steamed up the bathroom while taking a shower so it seemed like a spa, we did have a fine dinner @ Marsha Brown's, the Marriott wasn't 5 stars but no one got bed bugs either.

I still got nothing in my mailbox lol..not even my check from good ol Mr Bush.

Sunday actually marked my 1 year anniversary of my car....23,405 well loved miles. Gone as far as CT, down to VA...and everywhere in between.

My one year anniversary is coming up this weekend. Just shy of 16,000 miles. If I ordered another car today it would be identical... so that is good to feel that way at the one year mark.

The checks from Mr. Bush are not coming until May.
