Would it work on a 2010 E60 (5 series) with AT, since it also has the N54 engine?

Anyone know if anything's changed in this regard, and if this flash (or something like it) is now available for the E60's?

Do you have the paddles, or rather SAT? If so, you don't need the Alpina flash. If you don't have the paddles, or SAT retrofit, get it, as it comes with a quite nice TCU map, which I would say is similar to the alpina flash.

After my post I found out about the SAT flash, so am probably going to go that route, as it sounds pretty good. Don't have the Sport Button or paddles in the 535, and won't be doing it. Thanks.

Really striking out with how or where to get this done. Tried finding the files myself as I'm pretty savy with computers and coding. But no avail so far... I'm in Pittsburgh and I wanna play with this

Yeah, the correct information and the right files are a little hard to find. Here are the steps I took. You might still run into errors (as I have) but there isn't a easy-to-understand thread that covers it perfectly. Some of the threads below also cover most the errors people generally run into.

1. Download BMW Coding Tools here: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=699036 (there is a pdf with links below).
2. Latest Daten files: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=882353 or download just for the E89 here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=883635
3. Read both of these threads on setting it up: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=918608 and http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=859474
Note: Disable JB4 or Proceed. Also, I got an error while testing the airbags (as others have as well) but I was still able to code through NCSExpert and WinKP.
4. If everything is working correctly, follow steps on Alpina flash here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=873746

Has anyone found out a solution for Pre 3/07 build dates yet? I know there was mention of doing a TCU swap as a possible fix, but wanted to see if there might be another option?

Also, any custom edited TCU options yet? That would be phenomenal.

I like sport mode (DS) and manual mode better with the flash.

Regular "D" mode now sucks.

I wish they would have just left "D" mode stock.

Pretty sure D mode was to pass super strict euro emissions with modified B3 engine.
