Milla...how are you washing your car?

1) Lambs wool mit
2) two buckets, one with soap, the other with plain water.
3) Start at the top, do about 3 square feet, then rinse your mit in plain water
4) Always do the bottom rails and lower fender areas last...you don't want to rub all that dirt into you nice paint
5) NEVER...NEVER go in circles, always side to side or up and down
6) Use a different mit for your wheels

This process will prevent swirls.

OK, let's see if I was even close...

(Disclaimer - the car wasn't extremely dirty because we had some heavy rain yesterday and it had been washed less than 2 weeks ago before)

1) I had a regular sponge
2) Only one bucket with soap water
3) Yes, started from the top
4) Yes, worked from top to down
5) Hmm. I don't remember doing circles but I wasn't avoiding them in purpose, didn't really think about it. But I was just being efficient and not doing circles because of that...
6) Used the same sponge on my wheels, washed them last

I haven't washed a car since I was like 12 years old. My co-workers husband basically walked me through the process And he was rinsing the car all the time with the hose, I was the one who had to do the hard work with the sponge.
