The first lowlands I have ever tried and I am very impressed. Finished in sherry barrels so it has that nice taste like Macallan but, people are right, lowlands are very different than the other scotches. Light, floral, overall, if I was going to introduce someone to scotch and didn't want to keep it all for myself, I'd let them try some of this.
My other Scotches I have tried (to get an idea of my preferences) Laphroig cask Laphroig 10 Glenfiddich Glenmorangie Macallan 12,15,18,25 Highland Park 12,18 Ardbeg 10,OA,Wee Beasty Compass Box Peat Monster Dalmore Cigar Talisker storm Monkey Shoulder Johnnie Walker red,black,blue,gold And probably a few others here and there |

Last night I had
1 Bourbon (Woodford Reserve cask) 2 Scotch (Glenfiddich 12 and McCallan 12) 1 beer (a kid I used to coach works at Institution Ale, and they let him take out unlabeled black cans. No idea what it was. He left them at the house for my son/his buddy, but if you leave it in the fridge. . . )

Sippin a newtome Hornitos Black Barrel anejo. For a few $ more than regular anejo they store it a while in oak

My mom just grabbed me a bottle of this on her way back from Ireland. Anyone had any? Any good? Haven't opened it yet.
