Just installed my Cobb AP. wow feels awesome. When viewing boost. It stays at 14 when idling and goes up to 30 full throttle. Why is this?

Long term reliability?

I'd like to hear opinions on long term reliability using Cobb in a daily driver with occasional long trips. Is there any reason to think that Cobb will shorten the expected life of the vehicle?

These big single turbo cars are not meant to be drag cars. Their times are not impressive for what they are unless they have a shot of nitrous down low, supra's included. What is impressive is blowing the doors off of ferrari's and lambo's at the airstrip or highway. Probably only a handful of people buying these kits will ever post a slip.

All of these products have a place in the market and appeal to different people for different reasons. I love my cobb and plan on going no further than a stage 2 with mine. The car will be fast enough for me. I can't wait for ATR to hit the streets!

With the current mix of owners you may be right, but I could easily see a bunch of new people being drawn in by the AWD option once big power is available. If it catches on most of those people will be posting slips.

What max boost should I be seeing with V3 stage 1 agressive. Last night from a dig I saw 16.2, this morning i'm only seeing 15.5. Does the boost adjust with climate conditions?

Yes, cooler temps will lower the boost required.

Hmm I have an automatic transmission and I run stage1 aggressive linear throttle, version 3.X.
Are you saying its not good for my car? Should I change immediately to stock throttle map?

I think he is talking about alternate throttle, not linear. There is Stock, Linear, Alternate 1 and Alternate 2.

This concerns me because at 5000ft I am already seeing 15psi on v4 DRIVE map peak in ~75 deg temps. Does that mean at 90+ I could see 16psi just to reach the same target? Does the target not adjust based on conditions and always remains the same and it just knows I need to make 350HP so no matter what, I need to get there (and then because it ran more boost...my turbos go 'pop'!)! Just curious, as maybe I am mis understanding how it works otherwise.

I just opened my AccesPORT Manager and it says "AccessPORT Manager version 2.0.2.3 is available... Release notes: Unable to load release notes... Do you want to update now?" so I click "Yes" and it starts downloading the update, but then it says "Downloading AccessPORT Manager update: Not available" and the program crashes. Anyone else have this problem?

Yeah I think that's what it is... I even uninstalled the program and re-installed it off the Cobb website and it's still not updating correctly.

Not that it makes a huge difference, but are you using a mac or windows? Was gonna update my AP, but I don't want to my AP to crash and make it useless.
