personally I was a big Orton supporter. I went to Purdue for a year while he was making his Heisman run and hes a good QB, I though he proved that last season. isnt it like that with all chicago teams? orton was good for us, but didnt put enough points on the board for us at times. hopefully cutler can do that for us.

oh come on... Orton and Forte were the ONLY bright spots on this team this year. Hester didn't do SHIT, Olsen was good but a TE can't take a team to the playoffs, Urlacher had a down year, our O-Line is starting to blow ass... our Dline and Safties are always injured.

Orton had a VERY good year despite this, and even though he didn't throw for 400 yards every game.... look at who he had to throw to: Hester (brick hands), Lloyd (midget), Booker (WAY past his prime), Clark (better blocker than receiver) and Olsen who did most of the work in the passing game.

We need receivers so if Angelo thinks he gets Cutler and our passing game is now fixed he's an idiot. I'd rather have 2 new WR's and Orton than Cutler and the same WR's.

how many times did you see replays of incomplete passes because orton under threw hester??? cutler has a stronger arm and airs it out more. im not saying cutler is the sole answer, but it is an improvement.

Agreed Cutler is probably more physically talented but also remember this... Orton HAS a strong arm (just not as strong as Cutler). Hester is a TERRIBLE route runner so if Orton thinks hes going 10 and Hester goes 12... of course its under thown. Plus Orton played a few weeks with a bad back ankle so he couldn't push off it as much as he normally would.

Even Joe Montana threw incomplete passes every now and then...

I don't see them getting anything back soon. There is not a position we are solid at. Maybe HB and we have one good WR, but I think my high school team played better defense. And we won one game.

its not pitty... I just know how you guys feel. I've been a Sox fan since '81... we've had some pretty bad years since then (so have those Northside Homos who haven't won in 101 years).

the only hard part is the 0 wins, you won't see that possible in any other sport than football because of the limited amount of games.
