Are we getting 3M double side tapes or the liquid adhesive thing?

For some reason, I'm afraid of the liquid adhesive
(Plus, double side tape is faster to install ^^)

Any differences between the two in terms of the level of adhesiveness?

hey bav, can we get any pictures of the underbody where the splitters meet the screws?... i don't plan on adding any adhesive to my splitters... just going to screw them on for easy removal in the future.

Yes, please do one (or whoever gets the splitters first). You can never have too much information and what might seem obvious to you might be missed by some of us. It would be great if we all managed to have perfect fitting splitters after all this time & effort by everybody to get this GB working

the bodyshop start with the outside corner for both passenger side and driver side. I have to say, passenger side's fitment is 100% same as oem when the shop put it on with glue and bolt it, it can't move anymore. but the driver side, after 6 hours drying, the inside edge still can more, and I have to tell the shop to add more glue on that edge. (see pic with red circle area, but pic was showing after add more glue and dry) so I think the fitment for the driver side is not as good as passenger side (I'm only talking for my set, i don't know anyone else), but it's acceptable. also, according to my shop, the cracking on the clear coat was cause by those holes drilling. so dom, can you tell the shop be careful for hole drilling when they drill the hole for paint splitters.

and i will smooth out all the "not so oem" edge after the meet, because I don't want any chip on the new paint.

No problem, if you wish to get the splitter replaced let me know

This is one of the reasons I tried to avoid drilling holes, but we do our best. Painted splitters are made from a different material which is not a composite so drilling is no problem at all.

Did your shop use liquid adhesive then? I thought we were all getting sticky tape, as that was supposed to suffice?

It does suffice, I guess he felt more comfortable with liquid adhesive. I installed mine with the tape and the screws, installation takes two minutes. I've driven my car TO THE EDGE (if you know what I mean) and they are perfect.

3M tape is come the the splitter from Dom, which will do the job. but I want to make it to one piece to the bumper, so i need to glue it. Dom, no need to exchange, cuz what i gonna do later will fix the problem anyway. so it's okay, just let you know, so you can have better and better products coming out later.

My friends, and commrades, I have some exciting news for all of those faithful customers that have been waiting patiently for the spoilers, you are the absolute best. I just got home, and I came here because I owe it to you to tell you this as soon as possible. I will be shipping out the spoilers either wednesday afternoon or thursday morning CONFIRMED. It was a little bit of an Oddyssey but I thank you all for your patience. Let me tell you the story, when I got back the spoilers from the shop the first time, the quality was not up to our standards, so we trashed those and made new ones, this is how much your satisfaction is important to us. I went to see them today and they are perfect. Tomorrow the driver will pick them up and if there is time we will ship them out in the afternoon, if we can't make it, it will be the following day in the morning. I hope this makes you all so very happy

Yes, I believe it's Dom, as in Dominic. I never quite understood how he arrived at the Bavarian's Dom business name, though. BavarianDom, or Dom's Bavarians would be more accurate, at least grammatically (sorry, I'm a translator, so unimportant details count )

Anyway, that's good news on the spoilers. Can't wait for a similar post on the painted splitters!
