Had the Alpina flash done last night. Havent really had a chance to take for a nice spirited drive becuase of the rain but the paddle shifters are working fine.
Took it for a quick drive to dinner last night. Stayed in D mode on the way to dinner (S on the way home), noticed the pedal has a totally different response now. Seems to want to keep it in a higher gear lower rpm in D. Shifts are about 25-30% faster than before. It feels like a totally different car. Will take it for a long drive late this afternoon and will let you guys know what I think! |

Hey fellas, I'll be moving to the Vegas area in a couple of months, might be in search of an 06+ 328/330....anyways, just wondering if you guys know which bmw dealerships around there you recommend and which ones to stay away from in terms of buying a car from them or an extended warranty/dealing with warranty repairs?

Hey buddy, Theres two BMW dealerships in town. Theyre about 15 min away from each other so its worth checking out what both of them have in stock. Theyre both owned by Desert automotive. As far as warranty work its really not much of a difference. The one on Sahara prob sees more cars so by that logic prob has less time to hassle you about small stuff when it comes to warranty claims |

When I brought my 335i to the Henderson location it was a Saturday morning so I went comfortable in a Tshirt, shorts and sandals. Granted I do also look young, it was just unacceptable how the SA treated me. Talked to me like I was stupid and treated me as if I was bringing in a nice car that mommy and daddy bought for me. After a short phone conversation with his manager, I received a phone call apology. But it was enough of a bad taste in my mouth that I would rather drive the extra 15min to Sahara. |

Yeah. There is a lot more that goes with the story, relating to tire condition and paint condition after only owning the car for 3k miles. But apparently even though the SA at Henderson pointed them out it was MY job to call the dealership I bought it at and deal with the problem. I had cord showing on 3 of 4 tires, after I was told there were NEW tires put on before selling. Sales guy showed me 1 brand new one that was put on so I didn't check the rest, which were all bad Partly my fault....
Long story short my car is back at the dealership purchased from and had 4 BRAND NEW tires installed, alignment, and the entire front clip repainted all on BMW's dime. |
