I had car towed home from work yesterday evening. This morning I ordered parts to replace the harmonic balancer pulley and belts.

Zimmerman brake rotors and ATE brake fluid on all 4 corners. Akebono ceramic pads still good. It was quite amusing beating the heck out of the rear rotors just to get them to come off!

Need to figure out what the best fluid for 6MT and differential.

the dealer had done one. Was in the #4 hole.
I had a misfire that followed the injector from #1 to #4 after I did coils and plugs

so I just said F it and got 6. I'm driving cross country (ohio to oregon) in a week. I don't need troubles.

took the two new coils I found and the one new injector and tucked them in the back for road spares.

So this hasn't all been in the last day. But over the last two weeks actually...

New set of tires - 235/40/18 + 265/35/18
Installed M3 Control Arms + Alignment
Replaced Spark Plugs (and realized that I desperately need to replace my VCG)
Replaced Vacuum Lines w/3.5MM Platinum Cured Silicone Lines
Interior trim wrapped in 3M Carbon Fiber

I've got pictures but don't want to host them on another site just to put them on here.

If you plug the vacuum line to the flap so it stays open 24/7, you essentially have the PE exhaust.

Better to unplug the connection for it behind the left tail light - accessible from the boot. That turns it off properly rather than blocking the vacuum line.

Flashed a BPC tune this past Friday. That with the 3IM I had installed a couple weeks earlier ... now my 328i is basically 330i with a bit more.

I washed the car after the track day, I changed the oil, and fixed one flat tire:

Oil change. I (stupidly) used Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 last time thinking it would be okay on a short interval (10k km). I just switched to Castrol Edge 5w40 A3/B4 and couldn't believe how much smoother the engine ran.

I'm curious how Rotella T6 compares? I have some sitting around...

Pennzoil and Quaker and under Shell and nothing wrong with using those oils. I change the oil friquently. In the past have used Mobil 1, Castrol and Valvoline all either 0w-40 or 5w-40 and found that Rotella T6 when comes to price, consumption, smoothness and temperatures is satisfactory. Especially price, I was able to stock up on T6 at $5 per gallon. Then consumption. I usually never add oil even after track days.

I wish I could post a PN, but that I'm aware of, no one has that gasket by itself.

Replaced my run flats this morning with Michelin PSS. Tires are lower profile than the ones that came with the car. look much better and feels better driving. Based on other forums posts i also ordered the Slime 70005 tire kit and put a pair of pliers in the trunk for nails.
