I hope you're not unduly affected by the storm. I think you've said before that you sometimes have to pump water out of the yard after a big rainfall(?).

We're in for POP of 30-80% through next Wednesday afternoon. At least it will be warm and it will clear the pollen out of the air; two out of three isn't bad!

Yes, I have the pump set up and ready to go, thanks for the concern. The latest forecast here shows 2 2/3 inches. In other SoCal areas more rain is predicted.

Will likely be flash floods in the foothills and mudslides in the burn areas. Some already saturated areas from all the recent rains could see more homes slipping off their foundations and sliding down hillsides.

Stay safe. And at least you’re getting a good cleansing.

In the "heart of the forest", plus other obscure clues, we managed to find the annual local weekly newspaper hidden golden Easter egg (supposedly $1,500 worth of prizes, we'll see). Although in reality, finding it was priceless (in the rain)!

It’s been a steady rain since about 0400 down at the relatives’ in Temecula. It stopped for about 30 minutes, but with the wind blowing the driveway is already dry

Today was supposed to be overcast, rainy, and 71°F. Instead, it was clear, then slightly overcast with a visually impressive array of clouds scattered about, no rain, and 78°F.

Sunny and 50°F right now with a high predicted to be 68. Love the clear sky after a storm. Will be a clear, starry night tonight when I take my walk with the temp being 54-56. Love the cool, crisp air at night.
