How the hell did the front passenger side pop out? The bolts at the bottom should prevent that from happening?

And I thought it was the driver's side giving you trouble? How/why did the shop fuck with the passenger side?

Ah hell, I mistyped it.

It's the driver's side. Same one that wouldn't fit...the one they were supposed to be trying to "fix". Without gluing them on, there's just no way to make them fit, period. The replaced that bolt, they shaved off part of the car that was forcing the bulge, and they tried to fabricate a "lock", but it just broke off.

And don't forget, the passenger's side did crack. They replaced that bolt too, but that side actually has that little notch that's needed to clip in at the very front. The driver's side has nothing there. It's just blank on the back.

does the v2 intake fits e90 xi? i believe the first one doesnt fit because of the fan taking up space?

Thors contact Mforce and see whats up. since you had to pay money to modify them i think frank will help you out, but you should have contacted them in the first place to explain you skirt issue. they are a good company when it comes to making sure their products are of quality, but CS can be improved.

They sent out two pairs back in the first batch to some people because of crappy fitment and those people did not have to send back the originals. You should have taken a picture of the inside. You are like me and wanted them on ASAP and didnt care unfortunately that attitude has bitten me a few times also.

Dont get so down on the skirts, keep the good one and contact frank with a few PMs. I am sure he will be reading this at some point. Hopefully soon enough you will have a new sent out.

Like the others who installed themselves i have no body experience and had to do only minor hole fixing for better alignment and that was all, they should be straight on.

Thanks for the good advice. Just know that I did send Frank a PM immediately, and he replied quickly. The solution, though, was for me to send it back, and they would test fit it, determine if there was a problem, and THEN replace it. I had already paid the shop to install them, the passenger side was already on, so I'd have to pay them to take everything off and return my car to stock. Then, I would have to package it back up, ship it to him, and start this whole process all over again? I mean seriously, that's just asking a bit much.

I wish he would have just offered to send me a new one, but even with that, I would have had paid the money to the shop to install, remove, and install my stock skirts again. They said they thought they could make it work, and honestly, they really tried. I see the effort they put into it.

Anyway, the point is, I'd be looking at probably another two months to get the replacement skirt, and I just don't have the patience to start this whole kabuki dick dance over again. IF Frank had offered to send me a replacement right away, and let me send the bad one back after I get the new one, then I probably would have gone that route. But to have to return to stock, ship the bad one back, wait for them to test it, run the risk of them saying that I'm a dumb ass and there's nothing wrong with it, and then send a replacement or the original back...it's just not worth it.

And I will take a picture of the back and put it up here for the world to see tomorrow.

Guys i still don't get if side skirts don't fit 100 % why than mforce not care about replacment with new side skirts from Bach 3 as they say that now they should fit perfect.
Joe did you bought your skirts recently from mforce or it's old side skirts fro
1 or 2 Bach?
Maybe it's more easier than to get real OEM m3 side skirts and then ask body shop to modify them a bit, or it's very expensive and not worth to start ?

Real OEMs ones that I have seen on cars, the fitment is really not all that good, although pics might show differently, upon closeup view, the front is long and the rear is short and flares out and doesn't match the rear quarter panel wheel whele lines at all....You need alot of work to get them to look perfect! I have seen only one pair that actually came out nearly perfect.....Wait a little longer...I have been with these skirts since the first version, and I have to say that with each revision, they are soo close to getting these perfect....ThorsHammer, unfortunately received a defective set which I would assume it will be replaced if he can endure the wait a little longer. Although M-Force Design reps are not tardy to respond sometimes, their customer service seems to be sincere...At this point the only real issue for the skirts is the making the driver's side longer and thats it, passenger side seems to be perfect!! After that I would say that they are done with any revisions...
Good luck with whatever you choose, but IMO I would wait, they look awesome.

I'm keeping the passenger side M3 skirt and putting the stock driver side on. Yep, gonna roll with two different skirts and ship just the driver's side back to M-Force.

I realized while at the shop that nobody will be able to see both sides at the same time, and probably will never even notice. Don't know how long it will take M-Force to get me a replacement, but I'm going to at least give them the chance to make it right.

Good for you man... your driver's side was obviously defective and you chose to pay out of pocket to have a defective part fixed. You should be entitled to a product in perfect condition.

When my set arrived I actually drove around for a week with my OEM driver's side and the M3 passenger side skirts... no one noticed at all.

I have created several DIY's which many have used (blk vinyl window trim, painting lower mesh grills, vinyl wrap front grill, tiniting rear tail lights etc). I have also gave positive feedback to many a suppliers for their product/services....which I might add Mforce was one of them...
all the negative feedback Mforce has been getting on this forum is self inflicted!.....and deserving!
I help run a very successful business and have been doing so for 20 yrs....if I EVER conducted business the way Mforce has been doing in the last ELEVEN MONTHS on these skirts....I deserve to be FIRED and never given the opportunity to work with the public!
A handfull of customers have received the skirts....how many are happy with them....how many of them installed without issues.....and how many are STILL WAITING???
mach has disappeared off the face of the earth and Frank periodically shows up to give an update with very little details...yet he replies to his other threads on a regular basis?
Mforce deserves every ounce of the criticism they have received and need to make emends!!!!
if I was running Mforce,
I would: put up a list of all those who have made full payment and give them all a tentative shipping date and a % discount on any future purchases or refund a % that they paid for the skirts.
I would them create another list for those who have made a partial payment....give them a tentative ship date...and when I had all the skirts ready for them....i would ask for payment (minus a discount for their troubles) and them ship it.
I would also offer a refund for those who no longer want to wait for version 4....5 or 6....whatever!
I would do this on this thread....in public for all to see!
and lastly I would create another thread to apologize to everyone for this MAJOR EPIC GONG SHOW!!!...(and not make any excuses)
If I was Mforce, I would not:
* tell them I was flying to Taiwan to check on the progress.
* give an update with no details ie: "worked out some bugs on the mounts, ill ship out soon"
* state: "Mforce will always take care of its customers"
* make excuses like: sorry..we didnt pay our bill to Bimmer post so we couldnt access or reply to emails.

You are one of those lurkers of threads and thats scary and sad at the same time!!!!!!..Its not like they slept with your girl or something! Dude...I am only defending myself and do not under any circumstances start anything....It was Shiggy that called me out saying I work for them as u probably can back track and see for yourself, all I have been posting is my progress with the sideskirts and throughout this 11 month ordeal the great customer service that M-Force has provided to me personally...I am sure they have also provided other people with the same acceptable customer service or vica versa, but each post that I have posted has been MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION to the matter...I have M-Force products on my car and its because I am happy with the product that I give support and testimonals on them...Enough said though, as I will continue giving support to them, but really tired of people that don't even have an order for the skirts bash the company......
