at home i plugged my desktop into the router and that works fine

but when i plug in my bros desktop it says theres an ip conflict....suggestions?

tried rebooting both comp and router...no go...

im going to do a hard reset of the router and reinput everything

but if that dont work

google it ull find it! it's easy. just assign a static in the right ip range.

also ...i put in an old wireless card on my dads comp.....its running vista(pos)

i installed the software but it wont let me run it...i double click the icon...i give it permission, i hear a ding ..but it never opens...wth?

make sure both computers are set to obtain an ip address automatically.

in wireless properties its possible that "use windows to configure my wireless settings" might be checked so it's stopping the 3rd party utility from running.
