Just so you all know Joes of Miami FedExes stone crabs anywhere and they are great but if you are in south Florida try Chops Lobster house in Boca Raton. Some of the best colossal claws I have ever had and its in a fun neighborhood. Great bar around the corner that has live music nightly.

Speaking of fish, I used to love H. Salt Fish & Chips. Haven't had it since I was a kid. Think KFC bought it a while ago. Don't know if they still own it or if it's still good or not.

We used to love Chops in Boca. Had my wife’s 50th b-day party there and more than a few anniversaries and dinners with friends. But the last couple of trips the service was poor and the steaks were weirdly bad (grossly over salted for all 4 people once, undercooked/returned/still undercooked on another that happened to be our 20th anniversary) so we stopped going. Hope they got their shit together again because we used to really like it there and now don’t really want to go.

Interesting, i go there for stone crabs but tasted my kids filet and it was great. I am always looking for new places to go though

You prior post made me think of them so I went to Yelp and sorted for most recent reviews. Glad you had a great meal but doesn’t seem like they are consistently meeting expectations, which is disappointing.

Abe and Louie’s is pretty good but haven’t always had great experiences there either. I used to like Domus (which wasn’t too far from Chops) but understand it’s gone. Been wanting to try Cut 432 and Avalon in Delray but still haven’t made it to either. Guess we need to try harder lol.
