I've been thinking about getting a second masters degree in investing area but dunno, maybe I'll just finalize my PhD first

And then do an MBA. Dunno. Or just settle with this one masters degree and WORK instead of studying more...

That really depends what you enjoy doing...sometimes having a masters is good and bad b/c companies can't afford to pay those types of salaries, with the exception of IT.

yeah i do ok but job security kinda suks especially in today's market.
My plan is to ditch corp america and go into business for myself.

Well I have the masters in IT now. I really like financing / investment stuff, studied that a bit at school and it is so interesting, but don't really know if I would like to do that for a living. And i am doing pretty well at work right now so there really isn't a need from that point of view to study more.

My boss has been talking to me about getting the MBA, and I started to do my PhD some time ago but don't know if I will ever get it done, don't have time // or I'm just too lazy

if you have the time/money then finish your phd and get your mba, you can never have too many degrees in today's workforce.
This is especially true in white collar america when practically everyone has or is getting their MBA.

I dont know what you do for a living, but the neccesity of graduate degrees also depend heavily on what your future plans are.

well, if your company reimburses you back for the MBA, I would go for it.
Ask him, if the company reimburses, usually base on your grades, ie: for getting an A, you get back 90%, Bs, you get back 80% and etc.
