Now, could everyone please go back and edit their posts to include oil consumption. In quarts per 1,000 miles.

Just about to hit 150k miles
One bar of oil at most for every 7k oil change of Mobile 1.
Some of that may be from the oil pan leak :-(

Before I'd left for vacation, I was just over 179K. My old gal just keeps on giving...so long as I keep opening my wallet. Heh.

07 E90 328i 6MT with 112k miles on the clock. Change the oil every 4-5k miles. No consumption from what I can tell. All leaks have been fixed.

2008 328i AT now has 217,512 miles. Don't monitor oil consumption; change oil and filter every 7500 miles.

2007 105k miles. Burns no oil between oil changes. If anything it'll go down a quart during the oils interval but that's the most I've seen. Usually it remains on max.

124k (36k by me) miles on my 2007 E91. not entirely sure of oil consumption, but it's really low and I check it regularly as I drive so much.

HG! That's a rare bird repair. That's some good work, there.

You get a chance to see the mag/Alu joint?

My early production December 2004 build E90 330i is now on 110k miles.

Nothing major has been replaced according to its BMW service history. I believe it has a minor oil filter housing gasket leak, and a quiet-ish whining noise is heard on med-full steering lock.
