Practical, albeit disgusting. No one ever caught the flu from a fart.

I have a pretty serious problem... the 1er's suspension is too stiff and putting a coffee cup in the cup holder will undoubtedly spill the coffee at first bump / turn. In return, I have to drive with a coffee cup in my hand all of the time.

So what to do? Not fill the .99 7-eleven coffee cup completely (and get my money's worth) or just hold my coffee??

Toothpaste. We used it on the windows in our new sunroom. Some idiot at the factory thought they really needed to seriously glue the stickers on the windows. Toothpaste worked wonders.

Your first problem is 7-eleven coffee. Yuck. But that said, will they let you bring in your own mug? If so, get one with a closeable lid.

I’ll try the toothpaste method. Someone also mentioned a very fine grit paper and wet sand it. The thought of wet sanding stainless steel is horrifying. Then again how much worse can I possibly make it?

Which ever method you choose just make sure to go with the grain of the metal or you'll make it worse... Good luck

They probably will but hence opens up another first world problem... you have to clean the mug daily*.

Interestingly enough the guy that recommended the wet sanding method owns a 1981 Delorean. He said he wet sands the car all the time and it looks great

I am sure that at one point in your job; you've received a plaque, certificate or some other award that can go over that blemish.

Actually I was thinking about hanging the $1.5K receipt over it.

Tell you what. That little mistake she did bought me a free pass to do anything I want.

Wet sanding works if done right. I made the mistake of cleaning my viking stove with a scotch brite pad once. Sanded it with 1000 grit, then 2000 and finally hit it with some Brass-o and it was good as new, better than when I started actually.

Then there's the nose picker flicker, the BO, the light up a smoke and don't even attempt to open a window (I don't smoke in my car), and then there's that fucker that puts his feet everywhere. I have refrained from having mainland chinese as passengers and in general have also refrained from riding with them in any type of transportation. Call me racist.
Trust me, you're not racist... If you're in Vancouver/HK it's just an Asian calling another Asian out, same thing I'm doing since I'm part Taiwanese (which by the way, I have yet to experience similar problems from other races). I don't get the whole back seat deal... It feels so awkward and impersonal!

Oh and also did I mention bad breath... Do people neglect their oral hygiene THAT badly there? I have yet to meet another race with breath so bad, it smells like they ACTUALLY had eaten manure for lunch because I can't tell it apart from actual cr*p, you can smell from more than 2 feet away outside of a car, AND can stink up an entire car once they're in one! I was transporting 2 older Chinese dudes, and half an hour into the drive they wanted some water from 7-Eleven (preferably HOT... It was 95°F outside, you frickin' kidding me? Even the clerk was weirded out!)... I must've gotten adapted to it because I didn't smell anything before I got out, but I came back to the cabin COMPLETELY putrifying... I HAD to roll down the windows, but they promptly closed them back up and gave me a weird look for keeping mine down, and even for those 5 minutes from 7-Eleven to our final destination the smell REFUSED to clear! I REALLY wanted to say something to the main culprit, but I just met him for the first time earlier that day.

I've experienced this before. It was absolute hell. I had to endure a 7 hour car ride with the windows up with FOB asians with poor oral hygiene. The inside of the car smelled absolutely putrid. It was torture. They wouldn't let me roll the windows down for long periods of time either which just added to the problem. (Note: Before anyone cries racist, I'm Asian myself, although I was born in the U.S.)
