SOOOOOOOO... I was eating some sushi at Whole Foods up in Northbrook with the ladybird and noticed in the almost empty lot, a cop patrolling the isles very slowly, like he was reading plates. I didn't think anything of it till I noticed he was sitting in front of my car for a good 5 fucking minutes. He then proceeds to move to an outer row where he had a clear view of my car and just wait. I didn't think too much of it but was a little sketched out by it to be honest, what the fuck is he doing? I know obviously nothing on my car is illegal and I haven't knocked over any banks or sexually assaulted and young boys (at least since I saw Al last) so whats the obsession with my car?

Whatever so we walk to my car and 2 other cars right near us leave too so we start going down the row and it's kinda expected we are gonna turn right to leave the parking lot (he was all the way near the last row on the right). Except he didn't know we were making a pit stop at Lowes which is on the left. So when we turn left and the 2 other cars are blocking him, he freaks out, cuts in between them and follows me, no lights or anything but just in a manner that says "I'm obviously following you". We get over to Lowes and I hear his SUV's engine roaring when I get out of the car, he is coming up the isle next to us and as we get to the end of the isle he cuts in front of us and goes. "Evening Sir, how are you? Are you Seth August, (my birthdate) at (my address)? I said yes, thats me. And he looks me dead in the face and says... "what the hell are you doing driving without a license?" So I asked, "oh did I drop it?" and he goes, "No, its been expired for 3 years".

I was BAFFLED... I got my wallet out of my pocket and looked and it says ISSUED 12-28-09, VALID THRU 12-28-2017. So I showed it to him and he goes.. "Oh, Wisconsin huh? Where is your IL license?". I told him they took it from me when I switched and I just moved back recently and haven't switched back to IL.

Anyway, he goes "Oh we don't have you in our system, blah, blah, blah... "I WAS JUST TRYING TO STOP AND TALK TO YOU TO WARN YOU THAT IT WAS EXPIRED"

MY FUCKING ASS YOU WERE. Had I pulled out onto Willow Rd, I PROMISE you the lights and sirens would have gone on so he could issue me a nice little $300 ticket or some shit for driving without a license.
