Just wanted to leave a review from another satisfied customer. This DP Fix is worth every penny! Fast shipping and great product. It took me about 10 minutes to pop this thing in and didn't take long before all my monitors showed complete (maybe about 30-40 minutes of actual driving and adjusting the dial). The 5 o'clock setting did not work for me, I had to set it at the 7 o'clock setting and this thing worked like a charm.

another satisfied customer here!
my car is an n54 and i have the pot set to 7 o'clock and worked first shot. took about 12 miles of driving for the cats to clear. getting the DME plug out was a b*tch if it's your first time like me. it's mostly because of the tight space and a fear of breaking anything. it's hard to pull the brackets that allows it to release the DME wiring harness. then you've got to pull out the actual pin connector from the harness to get access to the wiring pins. you'll need a couple pick tools as the tabs and access are small. make sure you pull the correct plug. i made the mistake of pulling the wrong one which was a big waste of time. the instructions weren't very specific on that part. pic of the correct connector below. it's located 2nd from the left in the row of connectors if you're facing towards the windshield. don't forget to disconnect your battery. leave your trunk open if you don't have your valet key, otherwise you won't be able to open your trunk with no power. |

This depends on your setup. The car has two pre-sensors and two post-sensors. The fix takes the single from 1 post sensor and feeds it back to both inputs in the DME. This depends if you are using all four sensors or just two sensors (pre and post). I would need to know more about your setup to give you the most accurate advice. Send me you setup and how you are using the sensors (pre/post).

If you are getting a swapped code. I would uninstall the fix and reset the codes and adaptions to verify if the codes come back. If it does then you would need to verify that your post and pre-sensors are connected in the right spot. If the code does not come back then reinstall the fix and we will go from there. Just need to verify if you are getting the swapped code prior to the installation. Keep me posted.
