Congrats!!! I love that Combo! I have Montego Blue with Beige leather! If I were to do it all again I would have gotten Oyster just like you did!! Also where are you planning on getting your windows tinted? Southern Tier can you be more specific? |

I live near Binghamton, town called Endicott. I'm new to the area, got moved here for work earlier in the year, so I don't really know about much local. Dealership was very good in being honest and helpful, I got a good feeling from them. They said that they recommend a place called Tint Condition here in Endicott, so I'm probably going to take their advice and get it done there. Sometime this week I'll head down there to get details and whatnot

A good friend of mine lives across the border in PA; he buys his BMW's from that dealership and has nothing but good things to say about them. Great looking ride!! |

Still raining
Man, I kinda wish I was not on the east coast right now. Flooding everywhere, I had to cancel an appointment I had in Philly today since the only road there got taken out by a mudslide, flooding everywhere, just crazy. And the rain is not going to stop anytime soon.
Here's my rotors getting a little bit of rust on them. Driver side one is almost pure orange. At least we know they're good quality.

I didn't see a whole lot of BMWs let alone non-economy cars while I was going to RIT.

In your case, Blackforest Motorsport would literally be the only place I trust around here...

Not sure how far you're willing to drive, but The Little Speed Shop in Rochester could do it for you. The owner is a BMW master tech who just opened his own shop a few months ago. His name is Kevin VanValkenburg, really good guy and passionate about BMW's.

you were hanging with the wrong group then! i graduated from there in '04. my roomate had a brand new b5 audi s4 with chip and bolt ons. one of my best friends had a brand new laguna seca blue e46 m3. we got in a race against a kid in a m5 that was literally like the scene in fast and furious where he is racing the ferrari and i was in the passenger seat like . i was rocking the dodge stealth twin turbo back then and so were a few of my other gym friends so we were really into those. another good friend had an h2 hummer and took us all out in that a lot and he also had the audi tt as a summer car. a friend of a friend had a new audi rs4. another guy had a single turbo supra that i rode in the back of (yes you can fit an actual person in the back seat of those...barely!). all in all, met a ton of car guys and started to get into the higher end cars while i was at RIT. fun times

Not a problem. I like knowing there are good shops around Western NY that know what they're doing.
Also, bump for this: Come join the Genesee Valley Chapter of the BMW CCA at the world famous 'Car night at the Log Cabin' BMW CCA members will have preferred parking, please bring your membership card, and look for a white tent to register. GVC will provide Beer, Wine, Soda, Water, and dessert in the tent. Each family member will receive a $10 coupon good towards any food purchase outside at the grill or inside the restaurant. In the event of rain we will be in the private dining room. So what are you waiting for start polishing your 'A' ride! |
