best place imo is a place called shik doh rak, i just came back from there and i go there often. its a small family owned place but holy damn, their quality of meat and rice paper owns all other places. its so effing good, its totally worth the money imo but then again, this place charges by plates and its not all you can eat for like 20 bucks but man, its worth the money.

i love Jap BBQ like Gyu Gaku or the ones that cook in front of you....
the good ones like in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and of coz Japan, NOT the lame ass Benihana that do all sort of stupid tricks to favor the americans...(well...americans are easily amused....)....

There's a Korean Style Japanese BBQ (don't know if that's right) in Costa Mesa that serves really good meat. Anjin I think off of Bristol.

man i just settle for mr. lees and grab that all you can eat... save my stomach mostly for the chicken though... good stuff for $10!

but yeah.. they had another one called kang pan or something like that near here but it closed =( i was so sad for at least a month. my friend said back in Taiwan there are like SUPER GOOD bbq every few blocks.

Hi.... just bought a 2007 328i sedan and used my tripometer to clock the fact that my avg speed is 12.6 mph and my mpg is an abysmal 10.5... the dealer says that is about right for stop and go traffic in L.A. Is that really true??? Wondering what other L.A. drivers have experienced. I do also run my AC on low but pretty consistently.

Just press and hold the tripmeter to clear all the previous reading for avg speed and ave mpg...then try again and see....sometimes mpg can as bad as it is....
