Art why not buy a 135 or 335 with umpteen miles, change suspension parts, gut the interior and throw in a cage? Dirt cheap compared to a 1M. I'd say why not just buy an e46 M3 right now if you want a track car, but you're clearly very taken with the N54.

Either way good for you. My dream is to have a chevy spark track car.

Anyone making the trip to Bimmerfest on Saturday?? I'm caravanning early Saturday & wanted to see if there's anyone looking for a group to cruise with. We're looking to leave around 7:15 AM and park right next to the vendor area in the front -- PM me if you're interested

Def ready for MPact, seems like they've got a lot more planned (or at least judging from the website) than Bimmerfest. Dyno, Auto X & some show categories
