I bought the oil and filter from BMW and took it to a Strauss Discount Auto to do the change. I think it cost me 65-70 all in.

There is a DIY in the reference forum, all you need to do is get you car up so you can get to the plug to drop the oil. You need ramps and or a jack and stands.

Who installed your intake? Ask him/her. The $$ you burned by purchasing the Dual Cones from BMS could have funded you oil change... You never listen...

it didnt have a black roof though, it might have just been a shadow since i only got a quick glimpse as i was speeding to work when i saw it first time.

I know, but it doesn't mean I would do it myself anyway. If my options are to pay 50+ for a DIY package, or pay 100 for the shop to do it, and at the same time to do a general check on the car etc, I wouldn't think twice.
