Since HPF has been deathly quiet and Eric(HPF 335i #1) hasn't chimed in to dispell rumors, i fear the worst has happened.

Nah, I doubt anything happened to the car....
The fuel issues need to be worked out before making big power, so theyre probably workin on that.

If you're right, i guess the whole "just plug in a piggyback and go" solution they offered isn't going to work... Suprise, suprise.

Well its no surprise really. The whole community knows this is the issue. Shiv even said hes going with a big turbo to actually hit the fuel cut amd then test out his new fueling upgrade.

I just find it ridiculous the a company cares more about making their product look good, indtead of helping out a community of enthusiast by telling us the limits of our cars and what we can expect from their kit.(in terms of reliability)

Since no one has told me that its okay to step foot outside my house today, I fear the worst. It must be the end of the world.

Don't they use the stock turbo housing? You mean there are over $2,000 in parts on every set of rb turbos?

No, they don't use the stock dimension turbo housing. It is modified, and he uses the stock exhaust manifold. Its an entire new CHRA, Both Wheels are new, its a big multi-step manufacturing process to get them balanced and out the door. It's an extremely reasonable price, with a straight forward install, and good gains.

Ya, I agree based on everything about them so far, I don't argue they're top notch.

I was just debating about the amount of money going into the product vs the amount of time spent for labor.

The best part about this thread is the ones that are actually crying are the ones that won't even buy the kit to begin with. The same ones that ask for a 30% discount off MSRP on a BMS DCI lol.

The turbine housing is stock dimension if you look at it externally, but I guess you could say the inside dimension is different because of the boring to allow for a larger exhaust wheel.

And yes, HPF fed the frenzy. Maybe they could even just say they hit a limit and will report back once they work around it?
