Seems like a pretty good deal to me. No mention of any recent maintenance, but I would be budgeting for it anyway if I were buying one of these. Definitely hurry if there is interest!!

Yeah that price seems unusually low, even for a rustbelt car.

Wow…asking my wife if I can buy a plane ticket :

But in all seriousness, someone buy this before a BaT Dealer lists it for a lot more!

At the mileage (and now age) where there could be a lot of deferred maintenance due. Water pump, thermostat, gaskets (valve cover, oil filter, oil pan), belts/pulleys. Could be a steal if the majority of it is taken care, BMWCCA member likely has done most preventative items.

Crazy story Bizzar1, glad to see you're still kickin! E91s are definitely built right. My E91 crash is earlier somewhere in this thread, not as bad as the shape yours is in tho . Hopefully you can get back on the bandwagon soon!

After my crash I was convinced into leasing a 330. It's a nice car but man I miss my wagon so much, definitely picking up another one after the lease is over!! I also wanted to go the N54 6MT xDrive route but didn't even get a chance to start planning

I assume 1600veloce is watching this thread and already trying to get it to dry ice blast it and put on BaT. Is there a traitor amongst us....? He just sold a freaking 328xi SEDAN on there with 53k miles for $14k! It wasn't even a great spec car.

Absolutely…..it’s around the mileage where either:
1. Deferred maintenance has caught up with the owner, they were just handed a $5,000 estimate from the dealer for the items you mentioned, the BMW experiment is over, or,
2. Owner understands the car & has likely done most of those jobs. If so this car is a screaming deal, as long as you don’t mind the likely underbody rust.

Found some goodies in a local junkyard to pull. ~400 total for all the parts needed for the swap on my wagon including a fairly fresh looking Valeo SMFW kit

So jealous. Did you get the oil pan and gas pedal, too? Keeping the auto diff might provide a bit more...fun.

Hmm I did not realize the oil pans were different as I didn't see it mentioned in any of the swap threads I saw. I'll have to look into when I get the chance. I pulled this from a 2006 325i too which at a glance has a steel pan while autos have aluminum? Weird.

I wanted the manual diff for correct highway rpms and mpgs. I also have a 330i intake to install so that'll be enough to satisfy me haha.

Edit: I did get the gas pedal

Edit2: Another oil pan link

Pretty sure you don't need the pan, but they are different. Radiator, too, but I'd just go all aluminum...

Oil pan is mainly different to accommodate the hole to access the flexplate bolts if I can remember. No need to get a fancy radiator as the Mahle OEM radiator was 150 when I did the swap. Hopefully you cut the pigtail to the clutch switch from the donor.

Just checked I did cut the pigtail (phew). Pm me if if you got any other tips unless people don't care about thread clutter haha. I know your thread was one I read many months ago. I'll have to look it over again

Hi All,
Today I traded in my 2011 E91 xDrive AT. The car should soon pop up in Carvana's inventory. I know I will miss my wagon, but I always wanted a convertible, and, with the summer approaching, and the fact that Carvana paid me REALLY good money for my car, I couldn't resist.

If you are looking for a wagon in good shape, you may want to check this one out:
66,000 miles
19" M4 wheels with Continental tires - only 3000 miles on the set
Maintenance is up to date.
The paint job is in great shape overall.
The interior is excellent, I replaced the wood trim with the Glacier aluminum option (the real deal, no wrapped trim pieces, no plastic) for a sportier look.
Added a Mr12Volt Android Auto / Carplay unit
Has Harman/Kardon factory audio
Xenon headlights
Winter weather package
Clean title, no accidents.

I installed gloss black grills, M3 style mirror caps, black emblems, black exhaust pipe tails, paint-matched front splitters, clear front bumper reflectors, LED lamps throughout the interior... replaced the shock absorbers for the tailgate.
It's been a great car to me and I hope it finds another enthusiast that continues taking good care of it.

Here are some pics:

looking to buy a stock 2010-12 bmw E91 for my daily with a clean title. m sport package with low mileage and automatic transmission. not looking for a white or black car. really interested in the lemans blue with saddle brown seats or another rare color combo. looking for similar specs as what was sold in bat back in january.
