its a dyno jet...and basically some Saturday that works for everybody. Hopefully we got those 10ppl soon and I'm down to go...Im hoping by mid November

Yeah, it's terrible since I just bought it a few months ago and have put a lot of time into fixing it up. Well, the engine got really loud yesterday and had this awful knocking noise from the lower end, like either rod knock or piston slap. It gave out completely on the way to the engine/machine shop just down the road from me, like it literally died 50 feet away and the guys had to come out and push it. I'm waiting for them to call me back after their initial inspection.


A Saturday dyno sounds good. As long as I can have the car back together by then, you can put me down on the list.

WOW that hurts man just reading that man....idk what to say...other than at least you go it to the shop?

I will put u down as tentative I hope ur car gets fixed and is more better than ever. Not sure where you took ur but if u need another place Auto Risen is good in concord for mechanical issues and his prices are realllllly good...he works primarily on BMWs and Benz. Talked to the owner Peter 925.682.1192 tell him Paul sent you...the one with the slk. gluck

Thanks man. Concord's a bit out of the way when the car's not running (I'm in Cupertino), but I appreciate the info.

I took it to Clark's Auto Repair and Machine Shop, which is just a few minutes walk from my place. They build up motors, so I think they have a handle on it.

Worst case, I need to buy a new motor. At least they're pretty cheap on craigslist. :/

I'm lovin my Niners as usual, but man... The past few weeks have been frustrating. Gore is back, Craptree is finally in, and Smith is lookin good (for two quarters haha), so we should be coming back soon (note: I didn't say this week). I'm liking that Colts line hahah

Well when it happened, i stayed in the city that night but yesterday getting home was 2 hours. 280 down to dumbarten and back up 880. Today i took the fairy.

Fuck Eddie Royal. But I must admit, Marshall is a beast and Denver's defence is looking really good. I sure as didn't thin they'll be this good, but their lines always look good.
