IDK but maybe since I have a background in music and DJing, i notice it. But there are a number of threads/post about the 2010 standard stereo system sucking ass anyway (compared to other options)

And as far as the problems:
The day I picked up my brand new E92 the Service Engine soon light came on. I took it to the dealer the next day and the light went off, so they were unable to figure out the problem. They said its a misfire. 2days later it came on again... Car ran like shit, it trembled/shakes when i give it throttle.

We'll see what the dealer finds out tomorrow.

Black Trim FTMFW! (Well the top anyway!!!)
I sanded everything down to give it a nice scuff, then I primered everything, then I painted everything with black trim paint, then I cleared it all. Everything came out perfect!!! I waited a few hours when it was all nice and dry, the tops parts went on without problem, the bottoms, not so much! From trying to push them back in the track I got finger prints all thru the clear coat, then instead of removing the mirrors to get them back on I figured they would slide pretty nicely under them with a lil oil in the track, everything was going great! Then I got to the mirror got real tight, so I did what everyone else would do, I shoved a lil harder by the time they came out the other side it had taken all the paint off of the trim in those spots. So now I am going to have them anodized at my buddies shop! He is going to do it for free!!!! This way I will not have these problems. I was going to do it all this way but I would have to take all the rubber molding off and the molded plastic tabs (4 on each I think) and glue those back in. I hope it matches pretty well after getting the bottoms anodized!
Sorry about the bad pic was the best I could do it was still pretty dark out when I got to work this morning.

it looks pretty good bro! that sucks you had trouble, i know that trim is not fun to play with, not to mention its practically made out of aluminum foil lol

its all politics bro, the work was done a year ago, everything was fine, somehow we are being accused of using wrong nuts and breaking a strut, but at the same time the "other" shop re did everything and got the alignment perfect a few months ago, so how was it our install done wrong? im not letting it bother me bro, its just some high school drama that i am not feeding into

i actually find it funny to be honest, i dont rely on the shop to pay my bills, so i really dont take it as seriously as some of the other guys. i know i do the work right, and stand by my work, so the haters can spend all their free time looking for things against me, meanwhile i will be at home relaxing, why do you think i dont come on unless i am at work lol.
