lol i wish.

The 335 and 330 exhaust has a valve that is open and closed. The valve is usually closed at lower RPM's as well as start ups to heat up the cats quickly. But by doing the golf tee mod, you make it so the valve stays open all the time which makes for a louder exhaust note at startup as well as lower rpms.

it actually sounds pretty good and you can defiently hear a difference. i might do it on my car.

Theres a few different methods to do it. One is where you disconnect the power source for the valve itself so the valve stays open. This throws a error that is logged but you wont see it on your car unless the dealer checks for codes. The other method is just to plug up the tube that goes into the vacuum so that air cant get through to close the valve up.

The old e46 method was to use a golf tee (hence golf tee mod) and plug up the tube. But this was very obvious because you woudl ahve a huge golf tee stuck up the tube and the tube would not be connected to the vacuum. The newer method is to use a ball bearing or a bb (in my case which fit PERFECTLY) and plug the tube up, then stick it back onto the vacuum. This way, it looks like nothing was ever done and you will not log any codes. And because the BB is in the tube, it blocks air from getting to the vacuum which stops the closing of the valve.
