I'm gonna order my new projectors soon and I'll talk to the guy at my shop when I get them put on as to how hard it is to take it off and paint just in case.

pretty sure that exterior trim isn't hard to take out. I was drying my car for the first time and the piece under the rear side window just slid right out I was holy shit what did I do I broke my car. but I just pushed it rght back. now if u guys don't want to remove it due to sheer laziness that's sweet.

very true but I see/hear of tons of people taking it off and painting it on here all the time so it can't be that fragile.
