Swapped for this -
However, currently looking at possibly another swap for a 2006 320d Msport touring haha. Becoming a swapaholic! Last edited by mk2vr6; 10-05-2014 at 06:22 PM.. |

Done now swapped for a 2006 '56' 320d M Sport Touring and I love it.
While its not quick to drive, it certainly has been well looked after and is in very good condition. Black Dakota leather etc, I'm very happy with the average 40mpg, as opposed to the 23mpg I was getting in the Leon under the same circumstances. Only pics I have for now - Last edited by mk2vr6; 10-05-2014 at 06:22 PM.. |

And some pics from previous owners advert.
First mod - remove 320d badge's. They're gone. Also ordered some led's for number plate and for the sidelights to match the white bulb's below. And some red tint film from ebay to sort the rear lights and that will do me |

Tried my hand at tinting the rear lights yesterday -
(Ignore the mess!) Some very slight bubbling - Reverse light cut out - At this point I was very happy, they looked spot on, however once fitted I was a little disappointed at the colour difference... I will redo them with spray in the near future. A picture at night showing the way too bright LED number plate bulbs too! Still looks better though - And new Led Sidelights to match the white front bulbs - |

Mate, one thing top of your list should be getting that exhaust tip changed to a straight pipe. Or even change the exhaust completely. I've always thought the exhaust on the 4pot pre LCI is a real let down.

Not sure if serious?

I know! It would be ok if it had twin turned down tips either side like the C6 Audi A6 TDI. First step will be to try and polish it up I think, I really dont want a twin exit as it isn't and never will be a 330d! lol. |

I know where you live!! hahaaa. Just kidding, I think you live quite near my sons school?
If you ever need it scanning with INPA or GT1, or fancy a chat, let me know mate? You could even be kind enough to take me out in it sometime? :P I'm not really in a position to add cash to any deal though, sorry mate. Thanks anyway. Last edited by mk2vr6; 10-13-2014 at 08:33 AM.. |

We have a problem!
1 hour into a journey to Leeds last week and this was my coolant temp - Terrible pic, but if you squint you can see 47mpg. Bare in mind I sat in a 50mph limit for about 30 miles too, so this figure should be well over 60mpg really! Today after an hour or so of being out and about in town traffic etc. Currently struggle to get more than 28mpg round town babying it, and 48mpg on a (very) long run at sensible speeds. I will get both thermostats changed asap and report back. |

320d sold, I had an A8 in between, and now just picked up an 09 LCI 318i haha.
Only problem is the misfire / running issues. I got it cheap because of this, and I'm on a mission to repair as cheap as poss - as is everyone usually. Anyway... I bought it with a misfire that comes and goes. When cold it is at its worst, with the gearstick and cabin vibrating at idle. After it warms up it gets better but is still bad, however sometimes it disappears almost completely and pulls hard to the redline, but most of the time it is a pig to drive, with no power and struggling to rev/idle. I have proof the previous owner replaced the Coilpacks, Plugs and injectors, Both fuel pumps and High and low pressure senders, plus both lambda's with genuine parts. He has told me that only the NOX sensor was yet to be replaced. I have INPA, and a full scan shows 3 main codes - cylinder 1 + 3 misfire, and random multiple misfires probably caused by the first two codes. I really dont want to fork out £300 for a sensor to find out it does naff all! And I find diagnosing bits with INPA a lot harder than working with VCDS for VAG cars! Any ideas chaps? Thanks, Tony. |

Hang on....
You bough cheap 330d and it had plenty of issues. Then you bought 320d and it required thermo replacement and you sold it. Now you bought cheap 318i which has issues.... I can only salute to your bravery and constantly buying cheap problematic cars.
