lol just did this via actuator route, i can feel the turbos spooling up a bit better now which is appreciated, however there is def a minute loss in low end torque it does not feel as linear as with the flap closed but it does sound fantastic. don't do it if you don't like drone though.

Not to revive a hella old thread or anything but I have a question. I have seen many places (posts, pictures, videos..) of people doing the golf tee mod on 328i e90s. I’m not necessarily planning to do the mod, as my research has led me to ultimately think it’s not worth much, but in inspecting the muffler on my 2008 328i sport (I know it’s the sport because of the VIN, steering wheel, wheels, seats, etc.) I am not seeing the butterfly valve at all. Like I said, I’ve seen the mod done on 2008 328i’s so I don’t get why mine wouldn’t have the valve.
Does anyone have any ideas why it would be like that? |
