Looks like hes painting most of it and leaving the taped off part exposed? Anyway looks great so far, can't wait to see what it looks like once you're done. Since you're going to paint the car anyway, why not wet sand perfectly smooth and then repaint the whole thing with some harder clear so your car wont be susceptible to marring like the stock clear coat. Just an idea, not sure if this is possible or not.

You hit the nail on the head. The tape shows where I plan to paint the trunk for now. I've already done some wet sanding and actually rebuffing. But there are parts that will need to be repainted such as the rear bumper since it's completely remade. The side where the wide fender will also be repainted and i'm thinking of repainted the roof, cause I hate the sharkfin. Without the fin it will definately look more clean.

And here on this board we get some people that are afraid to change a lightbulb on their car in fear of voiding the warranty...

When is the ETA for the finished widebody? And also, are you doing the front too? Would explain why you took off ur oem fenders
