I do indeed - will let you know when I've had a few days to play with it, got visitors at the moment so haven't had much time to go listen and dial it up. Initial thoughts are it's at least as good as the Bose in my Audi.

Great looking car

, I do like the E92 M Sport, looks so much more aggressive than the SE. Ref. the sounds, it should be miles better than the BOSE. I had the HiFi Loudspeaker in my E91 and when comparing it to the BOSE in the S3 it is just miles ahead, and the Logic 7 is so much better than the HiFi Loudspaker system. Unless of course the BOSE in the A/S3 is poor, compared to the bigger Audi cars?

Yes, nice car Dodgy, I like it too. I am looking forward to your verdict on the Individual Sound System. I am guessing there are some extras in the idrive. Does it have a DSP for having different sound effects? Also, are teh speakers Bose ones?

So far as I can see - bearing in mind this is my first BMW, there's nothing extra in the options screens. An equaliser, a surround/stereo option (which seems to do pretty much nothing at all), a treble/bass screen and the speed-dependent volume settings. That's it.

The sound for me is very, very good - and better than the Logic 7/Pro/Watever systems that I listened to in the dealers cars. Seems to be very clear no matter how loud you have the system ... plenty of bass, and unlike the previous commenter I really don't find it too overpowering.

I still need to spend some time sat on the driveway dialing in the settings - just need to overcome my embarrassment of doing so with all the neighbours houses looking on :-)

theres no sound effects as seen with L7 and the stereo surround is only noticeable with radio on
